With decades of experience and an impressive roster of notable patients, including the legendary John Lennon, Dr. Tracy specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions such as dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Gary Tracy has served as an optometrist in the Upper West Side for decades and has a rich legacy providing eye care and optical services to a diverse population, including celebrities and individuals from the creative and performing arts. 

In one article, he said, “When I was young, I sometimes questioned whether I’d made the right decision to become an optometrist and move to New York. But it has been a privilege to be a part of the Upper West Side for so many years.” 

Being an independent optometrist in New York City has given me the opportunity to know many fascinating and diverse people, both celebrities and non-celebrities. Where else would I have had the opportunity to meet someone like John Lennon?”
